Sigma Crème de Couture Collection

Oh heyyyy lovelies!

I have something new and exciting and exceptionally beautiful to show you today. Aaaand if you've read the title you already know it's the Sigma Crème de Couture Collection, mehe.
(All links in this blog post are affiliate links [marked with *] which means I get a tiny percentage of each sale made through them, but all opinions are my own and I'm not paid to mention these products. ^_^ )
How gorgeous is that packaging?!

Let me tell you the basics:

First up is the Crème de Couture Eye Shadow Palette.

There are 16 matte shades in this palette and they're all beautiful, each inspired by the colours of french macarons. Fancy. I could not be happier about the colour range in this palette. I've been wanting more colourful matte shades for quite some time now.

Here are some swatches:
Row 1: Redberry Rose / Apricot Flower / Passion Fruit / Cherry Blossom

I'm so glad this palette has relatively neutral colours in there too. Apricot Flower, Passion Fruit, and Café au Lait are extremely versatile and perfect for the average go-to gentle looks.

Row 2: Meyer Lemon / Ginger Pumpkin / Café au Lait / Blueberry Cream

To say that these swatches are one swipe with no base, and most of the colours are pastel, I'm quite impressed with the colour pay off. Because many of them are very pale colours they're best worn with a white base if you want the colours to pop. (I've been using NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk.) But they're also nice for just adding soft hints of colour on the lid as well.

Row 3: Violet Whip / Lavender Honey / Cassis / Elderberry

Again, I have to say I'm impressed with these shades. I never expected shades like Violet Whip to show up very much but look at it! I get so excited over these things, haha.

Row 4: Blue Chocolat / Almond Pear / Crème de Menthe / Citron Pistachio

These last few are a little lacking in the intensity department, but again, I don't think it's anything that a white base and building can't solve. (As you'll see with Blue Chocolat in the video below.)
I'm really happy with this palette. It has a good range of colours and can be used to create a variety of looks, from cutesy soft looks to edgy intense looks. The shadows just glide on, they blend extremely well, they apply evenly even without a base, and they're not the least bit chalky! (Which I have to admit, I fully expected them to be as many light shadow shades are.) Emma is a happy bunny.

Individual Blush Shades:

I absolutely love the packaging for these! They come with a little card with the name and description of the colour, just like a little candy box. It's the sweetest thing.

More swatches!
Cherry Apple has to be my favourite one. I really like the colour; it reminds me of the colour red cheek/lip stains often leave. It's absolutely gorgeous!

Here's a video if you would like to see some of the products in action. I also plan to use them for a costume look verrrrry soon!
