Makeup of the Month | February

Today I wanted to start a series I've been wanting to do for so long - Makeup of the Month! Initially I wanted to do this as a video series on my channel and maybe I will do eventually, but for now let's start it on my blog. Basically I don't have an 'everyday' makeup look. I have a certain style, sure (dark eyes and a bold lip usually), but I'm always doing or using something different every time I do my makeup. What I've found, though, is that what's in my makeup rotation changes every month or so. So why not share what look/products I've gravitated towards the most that month? So many of you ask about what my everyday look is and I really struggle to answer, so hopefully this series will give you a better insight into what I put on my face!

This month is easy. I've already shown it in a video. After receiving the Sigma Warm Neutrals Palette a couple of months ago it has been pretty much the only palette I've been using on my eyes. It's just the perfect palette. I can't even believe how great the quality is and how beautiful the colours are. You can read my review here if you'd like to.

My base routine has welcomed a new product - Benefit's thePOREfessional Pro Balm.
This has honestly made such a difference to my base routine. My skin looks incredible when I'm wearing it. It fills in pores and fine lines to create a silky smooth canvas to work on. You can even just wear this by itself on no makeup days and still look a million times better.

On my lips I've been using loving the Velventines by Lime Crime. In particular Red Velvet. If you want a colour that stays on all day without touch ups then girl, you need this in your life. They're bringing out some new shades in March including a BLACK which I'm just so excited about.

Here's a video where you can see how I achieved this look:
