Makeup of the Month | March

Aloha! Today I'll be showing you my Makeup of the Month for the month of March. If you're not familiar with my Makeup of the Month posts and let's be honest, why would you be? This is only the second one and it's already late. Great job Emma! Anyway, if you're not familiar with what Makeup of the Month is, you can read my first post here.

This month I've been all about thick winged liner. Which is strange because I'm usually very precious about my tiny little eyelid space and hate taking over the entire lid. But I don't know what happened. I couldn't help myself. I rekindled my love for the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner and haven't been parted from it since. Also, I feel like my eyeliner game is pretty damn strong right now so let me know if you'd be interested in a tutorial or something.

On my lids I've been using a lot of the Sigma shadows again but this month (last month?) I found myself gravitating towards purpley greys more than reddish browns.

Lid » Mild Mannered (Sigma Warm Neutrals Palette *)
Crease » Thunderhead (Sigma Smoke Screen Palette *)
Outer V » Almost Jet (Sigma Smoke Screen Palette *)
Liner » Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner set with a black eyeshadow.
Highlight » theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer
Under Eye » Mild Mannered and Almost Jet

Mild Manner / Thunderhead / Almost Jet

This is probably the first time I've worn this look without false lashes. (I was on my way to an Invisalign appointment and knew they'd just interfere with the safety glasses.) I've been wearing ESQIDO mink lashes in the style BFF * non stop. I've worn them about ten times now and they still look good as new. And I know that doesn't sound like a lot over the space of a month but I don't wear makeup every day.

On my lips I've been sticking to my trusty Pink Plaid by MAC but Kinda Sexy comes in close second!

My brows have seen powder for the first time in a while. I've been using a Rimmel brow pencil for the past couple of months but I recently bought myself the Sigma Brow Powder Duo in Medium since everyone else seems to have it and love it and I have to say I'm not disappointed.

And of course my base is the same as usual:
Benefit thePOREfessional Pro Balm
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation (1W2 Sand)
MAC Studio Finish Concealer (NC20)
MUA Bronzer (Shade 3)
Sigma Crème de Couture Blush (Cherry Apple)
Mary-Lou Manizer
NYC Translucent Powder

Did you mix up your look at all last month? :)
